APPOINTMENTS Dawn has been appointed as a Vice Chair of the Fidelity and Surety Law Committee of the Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section of the ABA effective August, 2004. Dawn was appointed co-chair of the Women's Subcommittee of the Fidelity and Surety Law Committee and served in that position for three years.  She is also serving on the CLE Committee and the Scholarship Committee.     SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS AND PUBLICATIONS On January 30, 2004, Dawn Stewart participated in a presentation at the Annual Mid-Winter Meeting of the Fidelity & Surety Law Committee in San Francisco, California.  Dawn will be a speaker at the 2005 Annual Meeting of the Fidelity & Surety Law Committee in New York, New York. Dawn's article on attorney-client privilege and work product as it applies to consultants was published in the Winter 2004 issue of the Surety & Fidelity Law Committee Newsletter and her paper on recent developments in surety and fidelity law will appear in the 2004 Recent Developments Issue of the Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Law Journal. PRO BONO EFFORTS The Stewart Law Firm, PLLC has represented victims of the September 11th attacks in their presentation of claims to the Victims' Compensation Fund.
